There seems to be some explanation to the abysmal performance of Anthony Joshua on his American debut at Madison Square Garden on 1st of June 2019. The source claimed Anthony Joshua was knocked out cold by Agit Kabayel during an intense sparring session in Miami 8 days before his bout on June 1st. It was understood that Joshua suffered a serious concussion as a result of the knock down and his dad never wanted him to go ahead with the June 1 bout, however, promoter Eddie Hearn insisted on proceeding with the fight and risking it all, resulting ultimately in his defeat.

Anthony Joshua’s dad was seen charging towards Eddie Hearn at the end of the contest to pass his point across and register his displeasure for letting Joshua take such a huge risk. We are yet to confirm the reports, but that is the gist out there at the moment.
