Ja Rule’s daughter, Brittney Atkins, has officially tied the knot with her longtime partner, Tevin Aitken, in a glamorous Great Gatsby-inspired wedding celebration.
The ceremony took place at Villa Barone Hilltop Manor in New York, where the couple hosted 250 guests. Describing their celebration as “1920s meets 2020s”, the newlyweds embraced a vintage-modern fusion theme.
“It is definitely a dream come true to be able to marry your best friend, someone not to just love but laugh and grow old with,” Atkins told People magazine.
Brittney is the eldest child of Ja Rule and his wife of 24 years, Aisha Atkins. The couple also have two sons, Jeffrey Jr. and Jordan.
Taking charge of the event, Atkins “handled most of the planning” herself and was particularly captivated by the venue’s grand staircase, scenic lakefront views, cascading waterfalls, and rooftop mountain vistas.
“We honestly just wanted to make sure the room was full of love to see us showcase ours,” she shared.
The pair originally met on a dating app several years ago, and Aitken popped the question during a beachside proposal in his native Jamaica in September 2023.
Looking ahead, the couple is eager to start a family and build a life together. Atkins expressed their excitement about “having beautiful babies and starting a home”, and said they are ready to “grow in so many aspects of life together”.
