Tory Lanez has been in the spotlight recently following an incident in a California prison where he was stabbed multiple times. The attack resulted in 14 stab wounds—seven to his back, four to his torso, two to the back of his head, and one across his face.
Following the stabbing, Lanez’s legal team reignited claims that he was not responsible for shooting Megan Thee Stallion, instead pointing the finger at Kelsey Harris.
However, these allegations were never formally presented in court, and Megan’s legal team has since responded with counter-evidence challenging Lanez’s claims.
Reports later identified the attacker as Santino Casio, who allegedly felt threatened by Lanez and acted on that perceived threat.
The Shade Room has now released exclusive surveillance footage of the stabbing, captured from inside the prison.
The video, though filmed from a difficult angle, shows Lanez on the ground as Casio repeatedly attacks him. Additional images from the report show Lanez upright and walking, visibly bloodied.
Previous updates confirmed that Lanez was airlifted to a hospital due to his injuries, which reportedly included two collapsed lungs. He has since been discharged and moved to another prison facility—a routine step following such incidents.
As of now, it’s unclear what direction Lanez will take next. There is speculation over whether he will seek a retrial or appeal.
Although his team has stirred online discussion with the accusations against Kelsey Harris, there appears to be no immediate plan to formally present the new claims in court.
Tory Lanez is currently serving a 10-year sentence and is expected to be eligible for parole in 2029.
