Londie London is back on TV, and fans can’t get enough of her! The glamorous singer and reality star has made her much-anticipated return to The Real Housewives of Durban (RHOD), instantly becoming one of the most talked-about cast members of the season.
Londie announced her comeback in signature style—posting a photo on Instagram of herself in a stunning black floor-length gown with the caption:
“And we are BACK!!! Have you watched today’s episode of #RHODurban?! Let’s unpack…”
Speaking to Drum, she shared that returning to the show felt like the right move, despite mixed reactions from some castmates.
“It’s been amazing to be back, especially now that I’m in a comfortable space in my life.”
Since her last appearance on the show, a great deal has changed, both on-screen and in her personal life.
“The show has changed drastically for me. It’s not just about the new faces; the overall energy and atmosphere are completely different,” she said.
“This season, I’m focused on bringing more positivity and sharing what it feels like to rediscover yourself as a single mother.”
However, RHOD wouldn’t be RHOD without some drama. Londie’s return has already sparked tensions, particularly with co-star Minnie.
“I’m still surprised at how fast things have changed between us, and there is still more to come. Everyone will just have to watch the season and see how it all plays out.”
She also addressed the challenges of being in the public eye:
“People often form opinions based on what they see in the media and miss the opportunity to get to know who you truly are. That gap in understanding can create tension before any words are even exchanged.”
Another major clash has been with RHOD mainstay Nonku Williams.
“We are both strong personalities, and that naturally leads to tension,” Londie revealed.
“I also think Nonku does not respond well to being held accountable. I’m very straightforward and say things as they are, which can be uncomfortable for some people.”
Despite the on-screen friction, Londie maintains cordial relationships with some castmates. She mentioned staying in touch with Nonku, Jojo Robinson, and especially Sorisha Naidoo, with whom she shares a close bond.
Looking ahead to the season reunion, Londie is gearing up to bring her trademark poise and fire.
“I’m ready to address everything that needs to be said, and I have the perfect dress for the moment.”
As for returning to RHOD full-time? Londie’s all in.
“I love a challenge, and I think the group needs a bit of sass and spice to keep things exciting.”
With fans calling for her permanent return, Londie London is once again proving that her mix of elegance, honesty, and edge is exactly what the franchise needs.
