Nigerian activist and influencer VeryDarkMan has arrived in Istanbul, Turkey, to join Victor Osimhen in celebrating his stellar debut season with Galatasaray.
His brother and singer, Dkokopee, accompanied the social commentator as the duo touched down to mark Osimhen’s historic contribution to the club’s success.
In a video shared online, VeryDarkMan expressed his excitement and pride, reminding fans that he had predicted Osimhen would become the league’s top scorer in his first season—a prophecy that ultimately came true.
Osimhen not only clinched the Top Scorer title, but also played a pivotal role in helping Galatasaray secure the Turkish Super Lig title—their first in five years.
Taking a moment to address critics, VeryDarkMan didn’t hold back:
“Victor Osimhen said I predicted him being the highest goal scorer in his first season in @galatasaray and it came to pass… A lot of Nigerians talked down on him, called him overrated, compared him with others and made his talent look less… But again, DEM NO BE GOD, Baba shock them.”
As celebrations continue in Istanbul, Osimhen’s triumph not only silences critics but reaffirms his position as one of Africa’s finest football exports.
