Real Madrid have officially confirmed the signing of England international Trent Alexander-Arnold from Liverpool on a six-year deal.
The 26-year-old defender will join the Spanish giants from June 1, 2025, and remain at the club until June 30, 2031, following an agreement reached between both clubs.
In a statement released on Friday through their official website, Real Madrid stated, “Real Madrid C.F. and Liverpool FC have reached an agreement for Trent Alexander-Arnold, who will be linked to our club for the next six seasons.”
Alexander-Arnold joins the Santiago Bernabéu side after a distinguished career at Liverpool, where he secured nine major trophies. His achievements with the Merseyside club include a UEFA Champions League title, a FIFA Club World Cup, a UEFA Super Cup, two Premier League championships, an FA Cup, two EFL Cups, and an FA Community Shield.
He is expected to be part of the Real Madrid squad for the upcoming FIFA Club World Cup, scheduled to take place in the United States starting June 14.
