Garcelle Beauvais is returning to the small screen in two powerful new Lifetime films: Taken at a Truck Stop: A Black Girl Missing Movie and Terry McMillan Presents: Tempted 2 Love. Both titles mark exciting additions to her growing body of work as an actress and producer.
The first film, “Taken at a Truck Stop,” continues the gripping “Black Girl Missing” franchise. Beauvais plays Kai, a tough trucker and co-owner of a family-run business who takes matters into her own hands when her neurodivergent niece, Toy, is abducted by an online predator. Using her nationwide trucking network, Kai launches a high-stakes mission to track down the missing girl.
In Tempted 2 Love, a sequel to Tempted by Love, Beauvais reprises her role as Ava. The story picks up after her emotional breakup with Luke, and fate brings them together once again—this time in Ireland. Now both in new relationships, Ava and Luke must confront unresolved feelings and decide whether to rekindle their love or move forward for good.
Beauvais, who recently announced her exit from The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, shared her excitement about continuing her creative journey with Lifetime.
