Zion Williamson Sued for Sexual Assault and Abuse by Alleged Ex-Girlfriend

New Orleans Pelicans forward Zion Williamson is facing a serious lawsuit filed by a woman who claims to be his ex-girlfriend.

Identified only as Jane Doe, the woman filed the lawsuit in Los Angeles Superior Court, accusing the NBA star of sexual assault, physical abuse, and threatening behavior during their alleged five-year relationship.

According to The New York Post, Doe alleges two separate incidents where Williamson forced himself on her despite her objections, along with claims that he once choked her and took her phone for “talking too much.” The lawsuit also describes a disturbing pattern of emotional and physical abuse from 2018 to mid-2023, allegedly spanning multiple U.S. states.

In one chilling claim, Doe says Williamson threatened to have his security guard shoot her in the head in the guard’s presence. She also alleges he threatened the lives of her parents, claiming he knew where they lived.

Williamson’s legal team has denied all allegations, calling them “categorically false and reckless.” While confirming a consensual relationship took place, his attorneys maintain the suit is financially motivated and revealed plans to countersue for defamation.

Doe’s attorney, Sam Taylor of The Lanier Law Firm, stated:

“It’s a very serious case, as reflected in the allegations… Our client looks forward to her day in court where she can explain to a jury what happened and seek justice.”

As of now, no criminal charges have been filed, but the civil case is expected to generate significant public and legal scrutiny as it unfolds.
