Former Big Brother Naija Season 10 housemate, Faith Adewale, has spoken out for the first time since his dramatic disqualification from the reality TV show earlier this month.
In a four-minute monologue video shared on his YouTube channel on Friday, the 25-year-old medical doctor reflected on his time in the house, the emotional challenges he faced, and his plans for the future.
Faith, who was disqualified after a physical altercation during the BBNaija “10/10” edition, opened the video with a symbolic message:
“Faith is dead, but before he passed on, he wanted to tell you stories that meant the world to him. So listen carefully.”
He revealed that his Big Brother journey began with a single text message that changed his life:
“On March 5, 2025, I got a text message that flipped my world upside down. One click on that link and everything changed.”
Faith shared that after returning to Nigeria in December 2024, he struggled with career uncertainty as a doctor and decided to audition for Big Brother Naija, even taking a ₦5 million loan to pursue the dream.
“I was pissed, like what am I going to do in this country as a doctor? But somehow, clicking that link led me to Africa’s biggest reality show. I took a loan of ₦5 million and somehow, I made it.”
The former housemate opened up about emotional struggles and moments of vulnerability during his stay in the house, revealing that he requested mental health support multiple times.
“I wasn’t perfect, I made a lot of mistakes. I was overwhelmed and isolated. I requested to see a therapist more than three times because I knew I needed help.”
Despite his exit, Faith expressed heartfelt gratitude to his fans for their loyalty and encouragement.
“Outside those walls, a whole continent was standing for me. People I’ve never met were shouting my name and spending their hard-earned money to keep me in that house. They didn’t see perfection — they saw Faith, a flawed but passionate man.”
Looking ahead, Faith said he feels renewed and inspired to explore new paths in entertainment and creativity.
He concluded with a bold declaration:
“This is Faith Adewale — the dreamer, the doctor, the creator, the entertainer, your latest reality TV star. I’m ready to make magic with you all.”
