Big Brother Naija Season 10 winner, Imisi, has opened up about her past relationship, revealing that she ended things with her boyfriend, Hakeem, just weeks before the show’s audition.
In a candid post-show interview with Ebuka Obi-Uchendu, the reality star described the breakup as “hectic,” though she declined to reveal the exact reason for their separation.
Imisi shared that she entered the Big Brother Naija house emotionally broken, admitting that her ex-boyfriend had a major influence on her fashion and appearance.
“The Imisi you saw on social media was not really me. My dressing and style were influenced by my ex, Hakeem, because that’s what he liked. He liked when I wore makeup and frontals, so I did that to please him because he was my safe place. He liked girls who looked girly, and he was the only person I had at the time,” she said.
She further revealed that their breakup happened on April 4, just before she attended the audition in May 2025, leaving her little time to heal before stepping into the spotlight.
