Veteran Nigerian singer 9ice has opened up about his glory days in the music industry, reflecting on fame, friendship, and loyalty.
In a resurfaced interview clip making the rounds online, the Gongo Aso crooner reminisced about the peak of his career, when he dominated music charts and sold out shows across Nigeria and beyond.
According to 9ice, his rise to fame was a shared journey, as he made sure to carry everyone along.
“When I was on top, everybody was with me. Cabasa was with me, Jahbless, 2Phat — they all used to go on tour with me,” he said.
He added that his team was always by his side during his early success, traveling with him for performances and tours that defined the golden era of his career.
