Nigerian Afrobeats superstar Davido recently shared a lighthearted but heartfelt moment with Tanzanian singer Juma Jux and his wife, Priscilla Ojo Mkambala, during an event in Abuja.
The meeting took place on Saturday, October 25, 2025, when the couple attended the Medicaid Cancer Foundation concert in the capital city. Davido, upon spotting them, greeted the pair warmly and jokingly told Juma Jux to look after his wife, saying, “Happy married life. You are enjoying it. Take care of my sister oh.”
Juma Jux and Priscilla Ojo, who tied the knot earlier this year, welcomed their son, Rakeem, in Canada on August 24, 2025. The family recently returned to Nigeria before traveling to Abuja for the event.
Davido’s comment sparked laughter among those present, but it also drew attention online because of his ongoing social media tension with Priscilla’s mother, Nollywood actress Iyabo Ojo.
The singer and the actress have been at odds since she accused him of chasing clout over the late Mohbad’s case, a disagreement that spilled into public view after leaked WhatsApp messages surfaced online.
Despite the ongoing feud, Davido’s encounter with Priscilla and Juma Jux appeared cordial and friendly, with fans praising his maturity in separating personal issues from public interactions.
