Nollywood actress Regina Daniels has accused her billionaire husband and politician, Ned Nwoko, of orchestrating the arrest of her siblings in a bid to pressure her into returning to their marriage and a supposed rehabilitation program.
Taking to her Instagram Stories, Regina expressed distress over what she described as emotional and psychological harassment, stating that her older brother and sister had already been arrested, while her younger sister might be next unless she returned to her husband’s home.
In her emotional post, the actress hinted that she was done with the marriage and questioned why things had to escalate into such public drama when one partner no longer wished to stay.
“Someone please help me! I feel like I’m losing my mind. My big brother and big sister have been arrested, and my baby sister might be arrested soon unless I return—and according to him, return to rehab,” she wrote.
“Don’t even get me started on telling the world what you did to me with your stupid rehab talk! You said I’m a drug addict, me wey I use am rob body sir! What other name can you call me? A prostitute? But I will speak on that one day and tell the world of your involvement with everything!”
Regina went on to caution her husband to stay away from her and her family, warning that she would expose everything if the alleged harassment continued.
“Leave my family alone, Ned! And leave me alone too! It is obvious it’s war! Must things go completely south if partners are no longer interested?” she lamented.
This comes shortly after Creebhills reported that the actress had accused Nwoko of domestic violence. Following the alleged incidents, Regina was said to have purchased a new home in Lagos, a move that many interpreted as a clear indication that she had no plans to return to their matrimonial home.
In another part of her statement, the 24-year-old actress described the ongoing situation as “embarrassing,” admitting that the emotional toll had been overwhelming.
“Guys, I tried to stay mute on things. My sons and family are the biggest challenge of my life, but I will overcome and give them what they all truly deserve. This is so freaking embarrassing. Hard girl like me crying,” she added.
As of the time of this report, Ned Nwoko has not issued any public statement addressing Regina’s claims.
