“A Thousand Years” Singer Christina Perri Files for Divorce from Husban

Singer-songwriter Christina Perri, best known for her hit “A Thousand Years,” has filed for divorce from her husband, Paul Costabile, after seven years of marriage.

According to court documents obtained by TMZ, Perri filed for divorce on Monday, citing “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for the split. The filing also notes the same day as their official date of separation, suggesting the decision was recent and swiftly finalized.

The couple share two daughters — 7-year-old Carmella and 3-year-old Pixie. In her filing, Perri requested joint legal and physical custody of their children.

The 38-year-old artist also asked the court to terminate any potential spousal support for Costabile, who works as a television host and entertainment reporter. Perri confirmed that the couple had a prenuptial agreement in place.

Christina Perri and Costabile first met in 2013 during an interview and married in December 2017, just weeks shy of what would have been their eighth wedding anniversary.

This marks Perri’s first marriage, and the separation follows a series of personal challenges she has spoken openly about, including pregnancy loss and her journey through grief and motherhood.
