American rapper Cardi B and NFL wide receiver Stefon Diggs are expecting a baby boy together.
The I Like It hitmaker first announced her pregnancy in September, and on Monday night, Stefon Diggs confirmed the baby’s gender while speaking with People on the red carpet at the 2025 CFDA Fashion Awards.
“It’s a boy. That’s enough for me,” Diggs said. “I can’t wait to make him do push-ups and sit-ups and run around.”
In a separate interview with Extra, the New England Patriots player hinted that the baby could arrive sooner than fans expect.
“It’s supposed to happen real soon, so wish us both luck,” he added with a smile.
While Cardi B—real name Belcalis Almánzar—has yet to comment publicly on the update, the couple’s relationship has been a topic of admiration since they began dating in October 2024.
Cardi already shares three children with her estranged husband Offset: daughter Kulture (7), son Wave (4), and baby girl Blossom (13 months).
Earlier in September, the Grammy winner spoke glowingly about her relationship with Diggs, telling Gayle King on CBS Mornings:
“Me and my man, we’re very supportive of each other. We’re like in the same space in our careers. I feel like we’re really great and one of the best at what we do. And me and him think the same way.”
