Canadian pop star Carly Rae Jepsen has revealed that she is expecting her first child with her husband, Cole M.G.N.
The Call Me Maybe singer shared the joyful news on social media on Monday, posting a series of black-and-white photos of herself and Cole sitting on a bed, smiling as she proudly displayed her growing baby bump.
Carly Rae Jepsencaptioned the post simply, “Oh hi baby.”
Her husband, Cole M.G.N. — whose full name is Cole Marsden Greif-Neill — expressed his excitement in the comments, adding three heart-eyed emojis under her announcement.
Carly Rae Jepsen, 39, and M.G.N. tied the knot last month at the Chelsea Hotel in New York City, just weeks after announcing their engagement in September 2024. The pair first met during a songwriting session in May 2021 and began dating in 2022.
The singer has previously hinted at her hopes of starting a family, even revealing that her wedding dress was designed with a possible pregnancy in mind.
“We knew we were trying to get pregnant, so I also wanted an alternative dress that was much more flowy that I could sub in for the ceremony or just change into for dancing,” Jepsen shared.
For her wedding, she wore a strapless corseted dress with a draped skirt by Australian designer Toni Maticevski, and later changed into an ethereal tiered dress by Danielle Frankel for the reception.
The intimate celebration also featured a surprise performance by Rufus Wainwright, who serenaded guests with an a cappella rendition of Leonard Cohen’s Chelsea Hotel #2 — a fitting tribute to the venue and the couple’s love story.
