Fashion icon Vera Wang continues to prove that age is just a number. The 76-year-old designer once again looked decades younger as she graced the red carpet at the CFDA Awards in New York City on Monday night.
With her signature brunette hair cascading down her chest, Wang turned heads in a striking black bralette with winged sleeves paired with a glossy, floor-length white skirt. A pair of edgy black sunglasses added a youthful twist to her effortlessly chic ensemble.
The style mogul, who celebrated her 76th birthday in June, showcased her timeless beauty during her birthday celebrations earlier this year — reminding fans that her age-defying glow is no accident.
Over the years, Wang has spoken openly about her philosophy on aging, dismissing ageism as “so old-fashioned.” She believes that life is about growth and reinvention, saying, “You have to try and continue to grow in one way or another.”
Having begun her career in fashion at just 18, Wang made history at 23 as Vogue’s youngest-ever fashion editor. Nearly two decades later, she went on to launch her globally celebrated namesake fashion label, which continues to define elegance and innovation in modern fashion.
