Nollywood actress Regina Daniels has finally spoken out amid growing controversy surrounding her marriage to billionaire politician Ned Nwoko, insisting that her decision to marry him was based purely on love — not financial gain.
In a viral video seen by Creebhills, the actress appeared visibly emotional as she addressed the wave of online criticism directed at her and her mother, Rita Daniels.
Her response comes after a heated back-and-forth of accusations between the estranged couple — with Regina alleging domestic abuse and unlawful detention of her siblings, while Ned countered with claims that the actress needed rehabilitation for drug abuse.
Regina urged the public to stop dragging her family into her marital crisis, stressing that she alone should be held accountable for her life choices.
“Please leave my family out of this. I take full responsibility for every decision I’ve made,” she said tearfully.
Recall that the actress had earlier raised alarm that her siblings were arrested and held hostage until she agreed to return to the marriage.
In the new video, Regina referred to Ned as her ex-husband, declaring her resolve to fight for custody of her children and raise them “with or without his support.”
Despite years of public scrutiny since marrying the Delta-born billionaire in 2019, Regina reaffirmed that her love for him was genuine and not motivated by material gain.
“I married for love, not for money. People can say whatever they want, but I know my truth,” she added.
The ongoing saga between Regina Daniels and Ned Nwoko continues to dominate social media discussions, with fans expressing mixed reactions over the latest developments in their turbulent relationship.
