Pop sensation Sabrina Carpenter gave fans an unforgettable moment on Tuesday night when she playfully “arrested” actress Nicole Kidman during her Short n’ Sweet Tour stop at the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, Tennessee.
Pausing mid-show, the Espresso hitmaker addressed the crowd, referencing Kidman’s viral AMC Theatres commercial:
“We come to this arena for magic, right?” Sabrina teased, before spotting the Oscar-winning actress in the audience.
Overwhelmed, she exclaimed,
“Oh my goodness! I expected to find love but not my soulmate!”
Continuing her running onstage tradition, the 26-year-old invited Nicole Kidman, 58, to join her onstage and presented her with a pair of pink furry handcuffs, playfully “arresting” her.
“But you live in Nashville, so if things work out between us, then I guess I’m moving to Nashville,” Sabrina quipped, before adding a nod to Nicole’s 2024 film Babygirl: “You’re so Babygirl, I don’t know what to do.”
Sabrina Carpenter then dedicated a special performance of her song Juno to the Australian star.
The pop star has previously “arrested” celebrities like Drew Barrymore, Gigi Hadid, and Anne Hathaway during her shows.
Nicole Kidman, who has long resided in Nashville with her daughters Sunday Rose (17) and Faith Margaret (14), reportedly filed for divorce from husband Keith Urban in September after nearly 20 years of marriage, according to TMZ.
Representatives for the former couple have yet to comment on the split.
