Entrepreneur and influencer Laura Ikeji has expressed her excitement after meeting veteran actress Joke Silva and media executive Agatha Amata at a recent event.
Laura shared photos and videos from the gathering on her social media page, showing the three women seated together on a panel. According to her, the experience was both inspiring and eye-opening.
“I was sooo star struck yesterday and was very honoured to be on the same panel with legendary @ajokesilva and @agathamata1. Such stunning women. It was such an eye-opener for me, and I’m sure for the other people there,” she wrote. She also thanked the event organiser, Chinneylove, for the invitation and appreciated those she met at the programme, encouraging continuous learning and hard work.
Joke Silva is widely regarded as one of Nollywood’s most respected figures, with decades of experience spanning film, television, and theatre. She co-founded the Lufodo Group with her husband, actor Olu Jacobs, and is also known for running a cinema arts academy dedicated to training young talents in the industry.
Agatha Amata is a renowned broadcaster and media entrepreneur who has played a significant role in Nigerian television. She was married to filmmaker Fred Amata for 19 years, and they have two children together. She remains active in media production and mentorship.
Laura Ikeji, on her part, is known for her work as a lifestyle influencer and entrepreneur. She also stars in The Real Housewives of Lagos, a reality series that follows the personal and professional lives of women in Lagos.
