Nigerian-American actress and comedian Yvonne Orji has set social media buzzing after sharing a playful video of herself battling the Lagos heat at Jakande Market.
In the clip posted on her Instagram page on Wednesday night, the 42-year-old actress is seen wearing a long brown gown as she discreetly lifts the front and uses a portable fan to cool herself from the scorching heat. Laughing through the moment, Yvonne could be heard saying, “Just another day in Lagos.”

The post has also revived conversations around one of Yvonne Orji’s most talked-about personal revelations. Nearly three years ago, the Insecure star disclosed during an appearance on the Dear Chelsea that she was still a virgin at 39, a decision she said was rooted in her Christian faith.
When host Chelsea Handler asked her directly if she was still a virgin, Orji replied in the affirmative, adding that she was saving herself for her future husband. She even jokingly asked listeners to pray for him, admitting the wait had led to significant “pent-up energy.”
