Harrysong’s ex-wife and rising Nollywood actress Alexer Peres has set social media on fire after publicly accusing fellow actress Ekene Umenwa of allegedly masterminding her fallout with Destiny Etiko.
In a lengthy and emotional post, Alexer directly called out Ekene — whom she referred to as “Madam Jesus second mother” — claiming jealousy over a movie role triggered the drama.
The Alleged Root of the Fallout
According to Alexer, the tension began on a movie set where Destiny Etiko reportedly gave her a lead role while Ekene’s younger sister, who was also present, did not get the same opportunity.
Alexer alleged that Ekene was unhappy about the casting decision and later called Destiny to spread damaging claims about her, leading to the breakdown of their once-close relationship.
She maintained that she had never even met Ekene in person, except for a brief encounter with her sister during filming. Despite that, she claimed Ekene blocked her on Instagram — even though she wasn’t following her at the time.
In her explosive post, Alexer wrote:
“Finally God has brought out the truth. Madam Jesus second mother, evil in disguise. The major reason I fell out with Destiny Etiko was her and her kid sister… This actress wasn’t happy I was given lead role while her sister was there, she called Destiny to spoil me to her.
Pretenders do the worst. It is well.”
She further claimed that Ekene’s sister allegedly said negative things about Destiny to her — comments she says she chose not to repeat.

The drama intensified after fans noticed that Destiny Etiko recently unfollowed Ekene Umenwa on Instagram amid other circulating allegations of badmouthing and backstage tension.
While Alexer has made her accusations public, Ekene Umenwa has yet to issue any official response.
