Nigerian actress Chizzy Alichi has shared an emotional throwback video from her labour room to celebrate her son’s first birthday.
The 32-year-old actress posted the clip on her Instagram page on Wednesday, showing the moment her baby boy was delivered and later placed in an incubator shortly after birth.
Marking the milestone, Chizzy expressed gratitude to God as she celebrated her son’s first year of life.
“Kenechukwu is one year old today. God is faithful, and we return all the glory and adoration to him.
Those that put their trust in God can never be put to shame,” she wrote.
The actress had previously announced the birth of her baby boy on May 7 last year, also via Instagram. At the time, she described the experience as one of the most difficult periods of her life, opening up about the challenges she faced during pregnancy and delivery.
Chizzy, who married businessman Ugochukwu Mbah in 2019, has continued to share glimpses of her motherhood journey with fans on social media.
Her latest post drew congratulatory messages from colleagues and followers who joined her in celebrating the special milestone.
